I've been in and out all weekend but tomorrow evening I'll sort something out, but in the meantime MOVE the TTS and LOQ DLL's from the igo (targa) folder somewhere else and try again

when you say somewhere else... do you mean still in the within the device or out of the device - i.e. delete from the device.

Just out of the folder they're in, parent folder, PC, doesn't matter.

There are different dll's for Wince 4.2 and below and 5 and above, I don't know what version is in yours. So remove them to see if it makes a difference

just tried that.

Main/only folder when you plug device in, is called Targa.

I removed the following from that folder: but left within the device:

loqmsx.dll
LoqEnglish6.9.dll
LoqTTS6_util.dll
LoqTTS6.dll

And a folder called: tts_loq

However it made no difference

I finally got on to a PC long enough to look at the specifications for this device and they are...

320x240 screen
64MB RAM
2GB internal flash
Micro SD up to 2GB
Windows CE 6
500MHz processor

About the error, I'm not 100% sure what is causing it, sometimes it's caused by loading an incompatible dll, or i've seen sys.txt entries relating to hardware which also causes the same error.

However it must be something device related as chas521's build has been installed by many users without issue, Looking at the device specs, a simple build of Primo will probably work so download this...

http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?8452-iGo-Primo-2.0-Release-9.6.2.209584-October-2011

Look for the Get Download the full version spoiler

At time of posting Link one was alive, Click the free tab to access the download button.

Rename the folder\file.exe as before and copy to device, and try again.
Currently sleeping...

hi...

Just downloaded and put the files on the sat nav. No error messages - however on switch on it asks for language/country settings once confirmed - the load bar loads half way and then gets stuck.

Screen shows : iGO Primo that's all.

Can I assume that you chose the language setting? The program stops halfway because it needs to load many things. Give it some time to properly load. It might take as long as 2 minutes. Be patient.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

Please do NOT post any thanks. Simply press the hand icon with the "thumb up" which is the thank you button.

Actually, all the links are working/valid. I check them fairly often, and update as required.
I kept the 'warning' there for a "just in case".
For the second mirror link (Shareflare), click the "More" tab on the Shareflare site to get access to the Free download.
The two Mediafire links (split file) are more or less Direct Download once the Mediafire link page loads.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

Primo does take a while to load, especially the first time, as chas521 said give it a few minutes...

YT, link two was saying invalid file when I tried it yesterday, could have been a temporary issue though, only tried it once.

Link one worked a treat though :D

If iGo or Primo is taking THAT long with no apparent activity, then something is wrong.
No error messages at all at any point?

This is all assuming that it is not waiting for a user selection choice or a tap on a "Next" or "Finish" button.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.
