Yes, Follow the guide about patching the map in the other thread, Be aware that it doesn't work if your device is now connecting via ActiveSync.

Sun Feb 27, 2011 4:24 pm

seeems to be , i can go little bit more and get to setup if i use 7.9 v navecore, no error msg but it doesn't do anything after selecting the voice. are you sure i need v7.4?

Sun Feb 27, 2011 7:40 pm

I've done this many times and never had the error you have with 7.450??? I reckon 7.9XX will crash with out of memory errors after it aquires a satellite lock as it does when i try it, The reason i recommend 7.450 is because "someone" modified it to work on WinCE and it has the dll pack included, and also it's what i use.

Try 7.9XX but i don't think it'll work. You may get it to work using Mortscript but it's not recommended.

This may be one of the many devices that Tomtom refuses to work on.

However, All is not lost, There is iGO we can try next, Which is just as good (if not better) and has regularly updated maps, And it's easy to install, ie, no patching or keygens needed.

Go to the iGO sub forum and have a read through and i'll send you links and instructions later when i get home later...

Put a hash "#" in front of the two lines that start with "Kill" in MobileNavigator.mscr

#Kill...
#Kill...
Run...

Mortscript will ignore them now so the shell won't close.
