Garmin doesn't like running with some processes in the background, Try removing one of the #'s, if that doesn't work try removing the other one, If it still won't work you may have to install another shell.

what you mean by install another shell?

Another launcher application, So you would tap the navigate button and another menu appears with buttons for your apps, I know Garmin works with a SystemInformation type unlock ok, If Garmin works ok when the original shell is killed then we should be able to sort one out.

what you think about miopocket 4? do you think this launcher should be ok? i want to keep my bluetooth hands free functionality with my phone, is possible with miopocket and garmin running? i have running garmin xt same version as my nevigator in my nokia n95 and shows messege on top of the navigator window beside signal if there is any text recived.

ps: everytime i try igo8.exe my device reboot after show the screen. tried igo8.3 and prime 1.2 in sd card. and my garminxt can only get a unlock when i put it in sd card

and i have miopocket v4 installed, garmin working fine now but still igo doesn't work!!

What exactly happens when you try to run iGO? Any error messages?

i tried yours link, and i download amigo from gpsunderground i think. now its just give me a error, no system file found!!
i will again tomorrow after a clean format.

EDIT: Primo 1.2 probably is not working because the path is wrong. It changed from 1.1 to 1.2

same thing happennning, its give me a messege when i press exe file, "last time failed to load, do you wanna set it default" i tried both yes and no, its just reboot my navigator.

If I could put my two cents in please. I understand that you re-flashed your ROM to to WinCE 5.0. Let me explain something. Re-flashing is not advised [only in emergencies]. In order to properly re-flash a series of events must take place. If, during that process, a hiccup should arise all you are going to do is brick your device and you'll just have to buy a new one. You came here wanting advice on how to add nav programs and contents. Fatboyfun has given you excellent advice on how to proceed. I suggest that you follow his lead and NOT make any edits by yourself unless he instructed you to do it.

sorry i wasn't clear enogh when i said i am formating, what i meant i am formating my SDMMC drive, i did not reflushed windows ce, not advanced to do that. and fatboy is helping me a lot and i am following him. thanks for all the help leds. looking forroward to hear from ye.

I'm new to this forum so HI EVERYONE! Some time ago i got a Targa 4320 from my father in law who replaced it with a Tom Tom and a Navigon. As he already gave me a Medion, i was using that one as the main GPS and Targa was laying there for some time, until 2 days ago when i said it would be nice if i'd try to put some new GPS software on it as the Medion maps are years old and it's always sooo funny to drive with it. After a day and a half of googling, there wasn't much stuff about Targa devices, the best thread was this one, so i tried a few things without much success. I am able to get into windows now but IGo 1.2 refused to work, it just restarted my device. As i read that you went through the hell with yours, i would really appreciate it if you would share what did you get to work on it, which one you liked most from the ones you tried and especially how did you do it :). Thanks.
