Binatone A430

Binatone A430

Postby steadyeddie » Mon Oct 10, 2011 12:51 pm

Hi all.
I've just 'inherited' a Binatone A430 and it already has TT installed, however I'm told that the maps are very old so I would like to update them.
Is there an easy way to do this or would I need to completely install TT again?
Thanks

Start Tomtom
Tap the lower right area where the signal strength and speed is
Tap the little box on the right side of the screen that has the word "Version" in it
Post App version and Map version here

To get the latest maps you need to upgrade Tomtom...

I 'think' i've managed to install everything ok so far, but am having trouble with the postcodes, only getting the first 3 or 4 digits to show.
Any ideas?
Thanks for your help so far

Go back to the map thread and download the latest postcodes, Put the two Great Britain files in a folder called Zip in the root of the memory card.
