Ignore the Mortscript related files as this was built for a device that needed some processes killed before iGO could be started.

You can just create a sys.txt with notepad containing ONLY this text...

[interface]
shutdown_time=0

Sometimes you need to save the file as Unicode (Encoding)

This post contains a list of all the versions of iGO...

But...

If everything works and you're happy then don't change for changes sake, Double check the newly created sys.txt.

Before you can change speedcam settings your device MUST have a satellite lock, Without one the option disappears.

A satellite lock is when your device shows your current location.

From your post in the other thread i see that you have the camera icons but no alert sound, Apologies but i thought you meant you didn't have anything at all.

What did you have on the old version? Because the default iGO8 speed camera warning is just simple beeps, You could however install skins such as kikker, diMka or gja which gives you advanced voice warnings...

As well as installing the skin you need to get the camera voice files and place them in the correct directory, I prefered the Kikker or GJA skins the diMka skin is too complicated.
