Hi Fatboyfun,
I see what you mean it does say on the ebuyer site ce 6.0.

The site must be wrong mine has a sticker saying ce 5.0 on the back. Good news for us a wonderful bit of kit it plays MP3 via FM too. An absolute bargin at £40. I will check the system specs when I get home.

Thanks

PT

The Navman/Mio has a better processor. The device seems to run much faster than a lot of chinese devices.

i think they both have to same processor and GPS chip.. I prefer the fact that the F&H has a SD card slot & headphone.
But heyho.. I have the navman now.

I have a Mio M400 and a Binatone B430 (Generic Chinese MobileNavigator device) amongst others, Both have the same processor, but the Mio is so much faster.

i used my m400 for the first time this evening.. everynow and then when i use tomtom.. a debug window pops up.. tomtom does not crash it stays running in the background. I just have to close the debug window by clicking on the "x"/close buttton and tomtom appears running as usual.
Has anyone else had this problem?

I have a question. Why would you want TT for WinCE when it is only basic with no TTS when you could install iGO8 which has it all?
If it ain't broke don't fix it!

Yes, Find the file Autorun.reg at \Program Files\Unlock

Open it with Notepad, Don't double click the icon though

Copy and paste this text to the end of the file

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\Console]
"OutputTo"=dword:ffffffff

Save file, Restart your device, Problem solved!

TTS = Text to speech, "Turn left onto High Street"
ALG = Advanced lane guidance, Pictorial representation of motorway junctions
IQ Routes = Map data now contains average speeds for roads at any given time of the day, So you will get different routes planned at 8:00AM Monday, compared to 3AM Sunday.

Did you leave an empty line between the last entry and the quoted text?

"Color3"="16776960" <- Last line of above entry

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\Console]
"OutputTo"=dword:ffffffff

As this is a registry file it must be formatted correctly to be valid.
