I am running TT Version 7.910 and using UK&ROI 875_3673. Runs like a dream with normal basic TT functions and doesn't involve playing with wince 6 at all. The unit has a storage space called residentflash which it runs its software from and it is just a matter of installing your TT7 here. In fact, if you had the Navigo's prior to this unit, it takes exactly the same modified TT7 files as before.

There's some confusion to what OS this device runs, The website clearly states WinCE 6, and Tomtom 7 does not work properly under WinCE 6, So if i was buying another device specifically to run Tomtom 7, I wouldn't take the chance with it. The Mio Moov's i recommended run Tomtom faster than any other device i've seen.

I can't dispute your case that the Mio's run TT quicker as I haven't tried one of those. All I am saying is that I have purchased about 8-10 of the F & H GPS35LS and installed TT7 and the above mentioned map and had absolutely no problem with any of them. Just suggesting the F&H as a nice cheap and simple GPS to modify. On no occasion have I modified wince, just a straight insert of files onto the storage area and the usual mods to the maps to get them to work.

If the website said WinCE 5 was installed, OR the member only wanted iGO Primo, then i would most definitely agree, The devices are similar to Binatones, (ResidentFlash drive) and i've recommended those before, (I have one myself) BUT some Binatones now ship with WinCE 6 installed, so i would assume that so would most other generic Chinese clones. But as the member specifically wanted to run Tomtom, and the website stated WinCE 6, I couldn't say for sure it was a good buy.

My Mio M400 runs Tomtom Navigator at a higher screen refresh rate than some actual Tomtom devices i've updated.

Don't know about WinCE6 etc - I do know my Mio Moov was only a few of pounds more expensive than F&H unit. Just covered 2800 miles (from Glasgow to Elgin, Ayr to St Andrews and lots of points inbetween and then Belfast, Coleraine, Londonderry, Donegal again with loads of visits inbetween), and the MioMoov with TomTom installed as instructed never missed a turn!
Well pleased and I appreciate the advice given by Fbf!!

Forgot to mention - by middle of January will let you know how it goes in Florida - Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Naples - and points inbetween!!

I use mine daily with Tomtom and iGO Primo and it's never let me down.
