people having map problems with v8.8.
i've managed to find this link with working map for v8.8 after a lot of trial and error and searching.

Any one know why the new [Please Register or Login to download file] Map cannot work, it say the no license to use the MAP. Please backup your current map before update. update at own risk

These version only work with mfm june version, july onward can not support, Cheer

For those who are having problem gps device error download and put this folder into your "NavIQ" folder. This will fix com and baud rate issue
Download the files here : [Please Register or Login to download file]
Your folder should look like this :

Make sure you have all the files inside RunNavIQ :
[Please Register or Login to download file]

If all is correct, 1st of all you need to setup port splitter according to your gps port and baud rate. This has to be done one time only, after the settings has been save you just need to run NavIQ (inside RunNavIQ folder) everytime you want to run galactio.
Follow this instruction step by step to setup the port splitter
1. Run PortSplitter.exe
2. Input Section : Port ( Select Your gps device port)
Baud ( Select your gps device baud rate)
3. Tick "Autostart" box
4. Output Section : COM1
5. Click Add
6. Click Start
7. Click Stop
8. Click Exit

After that make sure you have settings.dat inside RunNavIQ folder.

Now when the setting is saved, you just need to run NavIQ.exe inside RunNavIQ folder everytime you want to run Galactio, and it will lock your gps with your device com port and baud rate. Tested my and my friend different com and baud and it's working

P/S : If your device don't have MortScript installed you need to install MortScript first before you can run NavIQ.exe or you would get error. To install MortScript just run MortScript.exe in RunNavIQ folder.

Does anyone know how to preserve settings and favorites ? mine always get resetted to default on every startup

Tried the 3rd fixdemo exec, and move the installation folder into residentflash, all to no avail
