Also it shows incorrect speed limits in some places,The speed Limit is 70, but it shows 80, and it shows speed cameras, but there are no speed cameras in the area i was driving, it also shows Aldi in my area , but we have no aldi in my area LOL any fix for that??

1- whats is the latest I GO Version Available that works with this unit?

1) The device looks not that old and I am guessing (because I couldn't find the available RAM or missed it) that you can use Primo2 without any problem.
Visit this post : http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?9656-iGo-Primo-2.0-Build-9.6.5.211211-(Dec-07-2011)-Torrent
and you will find all you need to know.

2) Latest Australian map (when I am not wrong) is the R19.1 (2012Q2) available [Please Register or Login to download file] .
Thanks to JohnnyGT

3) Your POI problem is due to the POI files. When they - thus the info - are wrong (or outdated?) the POI are shown incorrectly. Simple as that. It's no program fault. Some of our Australian friends can better tell you what POI file or "homemade" KML file to use and give a download link.

Speed information - that is the road dependable speed - is information stored in the map itself. Possibly the R19.1 solves your issue.
Regarding speedcam alerts, you need a particular (and of course recent) Australian speedcam file. Regrettably, those files are not posted often on Navitotal and the one link I do have died. :(.

Again: Some of our Australian visitors might contribute ?

4) Probably you have the wrong TTS engine or ... well, something else could be wrong. Since I gave you a link to Primo2, it's best to use the TTS voices for Primo2 as well. Thus go here : http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?9659-iGO-Primo-2.0-Nuance-TTS-Pro-Voices-Torrent

5) No idea. Do you need a firmware update?

6) Navitotal is blacklisted by Paypal. Sorry. But Alertpay is trustworthy, however Canadian ;)

7) No problem. You are welcome!

Hi nabi thanks for your help.

I downloaded i go primo 2 from above link.

when i start the app in my unit it loads then it shows me language selection, i choose Australian AU, then it loads more, and after that i get this error ( fialed to open file: ui_igo8/dayheightcolormap.bmp exiting application) why dose it say i go 8??

I have deleted all old folders from my SD Card and started i go primo 2 fresh. i have looked for ui_igo8 but i cant finde that folder? any help

but i did not delete my Navi.ini, witch have this in it. ( PATH=\igo8-au+nz\igo8.exe
AUTO=1) this file is in my units main folder not primo folder.

However i did find (dayheightcolormap.bmp) file in DATA.ZIP that came with the above download, but its in ui_igo9, i am confused where is i go 8??

$trackinglist.spr is part of a scheme. IGO8.3 and Primo have some schemes incompatibility, primarily because iGO refers to ui_igo8 while Primo does to ui_igo9 in the skin folder, as you already know. There must be some iGO8 traces or a whole iGO8 left on your SD or device.
Primo gets confused when that happens so we must tell it not to look for iGO (or any other navigation program). Open the Primo sys.txt in a text editor (notepad will do just fine) and see that these lines are in it:

[Folders]

has_secondary_root=0

After saving and closing, make sure the file is called sys.txt, not sys.txt.txt.

How do you start Primo?
What happens when you rename Navi.ini to Navi.ini.old?

That it is working after a fresh install would mean some file got corrupted while copying Primo to the device the first time.
Don't thank me. This is mainly YT's work. I am old fashioned, still using a 2010 iGO build :rolling:

hi nabi

I have small problem with my I GO Primo 2.

I have set the speed warning to ON, and some times, the voice cuts off,

For example i am driving on 50 Limit zone, and it will say ( This is 50 limit Zone Slowdown ) But some times it doesn't say all of it, it Just says (this.... and nothing after that, cuts off)

I am using Australian TTS male.

i have tried other TTS and still the same.

As i said it happens some times, and sometimes is ok.

any fix for that?

thanks in advance.

I'm not nabi, but I have a little bit of experience with Primo2, so maybe I can help sometimes.:D
Usually, what you describe may be a device with less than the optimal amount of RAM available (128 MB). RAM gets overloaded and the TTS takes a lower priority. If this is the case with your device, nothing much can be done except to maybe dial back/disable some other (3D) features to free up as much RAM as possible.
If you use the diMka skin, you can also (in the TTS settings) set the priority for either Navigation, Warnings, etc. Depends which is more important for you.
If your device already has 128 MB RAM, then it could be that something else (besides Primo) is running in the background eating up RAM that would otherwise be available to Primo.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

thanks for your replay,

yes i agree it mite be the RAM, the unit runs WINCE 6.0 so it mite have 128 in there, the book, the website have nothing listed regarding the ram, that's MADE IN CHINA FOR YA!

I thing i will just close all background apps if there's any, and play around with primo 2 to disable some useless crap.

thanks again.
