Kudos Navigator

Postby bondy99 » Fri Apr 05, 2013 2:34 pm

Hello,

I have a 4.3" GPS Navigation Device. When I turn on ther GPS function it says Kudos Navigator.

It has an old NAVTEQ map fro Australia.

I'm seeking the latest NAVTEQ map for Australia. My GPS device has the map installed with built-in memory.

Does anyone know how to update these maps in devices with built-in memory?

Latest NAVTEQ map for Australia is 2013Q1 but can't find it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance, bondy99

I only ever saw kudos navigator once, (on a F&H device) the owner of the device said it was rubbish, and i doubt you'll find maps for it, I would replace it with Primo...

Hello Fatboyfun,

Thanks for your message. I understand what you're saying, from what I have seen with mine it seems to work ok for me interface wise.

When I selected GPS Path I was taken to a folder called /ResidentialFlash MobileNavigator MobileNavigator.exe.

I believe the map installed is NAVTEQ. NAVTEQ maps on my other GPS unit is very good as it has streets and suburbs which do not exist on WhereIS Maps.

Even if I change to curent Primo v2.4 or something like that I would need to obtain the whole package for Australia and New Zealand.

I still dont know how to flash it i.e. to update the old contents to a new map / current map.

Cheers, Bondy99

Install primo
use maps such as this... http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?12102-Australia83-NAVTEQ-2012.Q3-121112-full-content&p=99573#post99573
Set the GPS path to point to primo

No need to flash anything!
