Zippyshare is pretty good at the moment

TY!

Zippyshare requires that no file be larger than 200MB each. So you have to make three files [parts] using Winrar. Please make sure you post ALL the necessary passwords. Uploads.ws is a better upload site.

Welcome to our world of uploading! Now you can start to see how frustrated we can be at times. All the mods here are volunteers willing to help the members. But, like you, we also have private lives and responsibilities. Another good upload site is Share-byte.net.

The reason it changes the time to upload DURING the upload is because more people have started to upload something and it takes away from the bandwidth. Sucks, I know!

The best program for your device is my iGO8 or Amigo. Or any Primo prior to 2.0.

I know its rather personal, but I do have major issue with INTERNET bandwidth... hence I went to my mates to upload above one, as I failed 3 times to upload from here:girl_cool:
Maps I have
NQ_2012_Q2-EU

Would your recommendation still apply?

Also, I already made new post with mentioned upload, but now re'starting my understanding and getting almost sure, that files placed in (map) folder are way too many- as why the file, considering coverage is rather big- sorry!

Sun Feb 03, 2013 9:13 pm

Yes, still applies! My iGO8 program http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?6880-Igo8-March-16-2011 Download from the fast mirror: upl.me

Amigo program: http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?2855-Amigo-complete-with-TTS-no-content-multi-res use depositfiles

Amigo is smaller download

Just to keep you updated(?) actual Looket G8 unit is great hardware thingy- handled:
Sygic (native); - shame about "so so" old program and me not being able to update it to something usefull
TomTom 7.45 (I thinks)- never configured 100 %, but hardware shown more than capable to handle it
iGo Primo 1.1; - Blast! since using it, quite an "fan-boy" now
iGO 8; some version, that kinda worked.
and lastly iGO8.3 (minimized) to an starting but misconfiguration- failed..

Thanks for recommendations and help- will have a go at AMIGO! (a bit later, if all is well on LOOKET unit too) as for now decided to try to get old Binatone B350 (much weaker hardware)- today:crazy:

Edit- DL'ing iGO 8.3 as well (your recommended/uploaded)- rather shocking difference in program size though! (iGO8.3 Vs Amigo

Mon Feb 04, 2013 7:24 pm

OK here it comes!
anyone having watched these forums will know, that I was going to do this!
...ask and ask again!:crazy:
Since I got Binatone B350 running Primo 2.0 just fine (mind you specially configured for the Binatone devices)
I will be putting same old on a LOOKET...
any pointers?
I do remember need of original files and adding iGO ones in a Drive folder..
any pointers?
will post my wows or huhs later:dance:

It's been a long time, but i think you just renamed the new primo app to match the original, it won't hurt to look at the old installation for clues...

Yup!
you are dah man!:thumbup:
I did!

1- copied old old contents of initial Sygic card contents
2- copied shell.ini from Primo 1.1 to the root of card
3- deleted in DRIVE folder Drive.eve.
4- Copied Primo 2.0 contents to Drive folder
5- Added Navteq maps in DRIVE/Contents/Maps folder
6- added SCDB files accordingly
7- Modified shell.ini occordingly SMDC/DRIVE/Vrive.exe
8-Changed
[gps]
Port=3
Baud=9600
9- deleted actual maps of old MAPS/GRR & /IRL
(Basically remembered and reprojected installation process of as how Primo 1.1 files needed to be modified to the 3 files(MobileNavigator to Dvive.exe , sys.txt , shell.ini of Primo 2.0 in accordance as where I placed them; added new maps and speed-camera database)

and vualia! 5 min later it found sats and she's running sweet!
will test some more tomorrow (both) and if no more issues- should I get contents of folder uploaded?

Thanks again FatBoyFun!

I did as you said
Code:
[interface]
show_exit=1
extra_settings=1
show_programs=1
shutdown_time=[color="#B22222"]5[/color] changed to [B]0[/B]

And all I get is rather polite note- "continuing on battery" for about a sec- Brill!:thumbup:
Content of this one- I will upload, as out of box Primo 2.0 isn't going to work on this unit
(in a couple of days)
Thanks again dude!
You are the legend!:thumbup:
