(gotcha, regarding passes)
Not too bad- 40 min remaining for DL's
Any tips as for installing?
(I figure any folders with .exe) will have to be renamed in to DRIVE and actual.exe Drive to start it up.
Thanks!

Just run it from the file explorer, it's easier.

That is a bit of concern as Explorer is only TCMR is good, once renamed as Drvive.exe.
actual start up splash screen has no such option:
Navigation;
Image viewer
Music
Setup
But no explorer... Only way earlier I had iGO Primo going- via renaming it "Drive", was not impressed with something and no maps, so went back to TT.
Thanks for the all help dude! much appreciate!
BTW maps here are for iGO Primo- UK and ROI only? what maps I should keep an eye open for for future EU travels?
Thanks again dude!

When i said "Use the explorer" i meant Total Commander renamed as Drive.exe.

Just use my version of Primo as it'll save you configuring another build for 320x240.

I did as you said (? I hope)
Modified Sys.txt regarding GPS- changed COM2 to COM3 and Baud rate from 4800 to 9600
Copied maps (hopefully to the right Location)
Image
so SD looks like that:
Image
with ToComander renamed as Drive.exe
same result- : "Not installed Software.
Please install Software."
Will try again- to do as I did erlier:
Copy all whats needed as per original Looket
Will copy Primo contents to ROOT of SDr; will Copy TCMR content (from Drive folder) and place them in to DRIVE folder; will copy Map Files in to as per pic above- will post in 5.
Thanks!

Try renaming iGO.exe as Drive.exe and the Primo folder as Drive and reboot...

The .poi file goes in the poi folder not the map folder.

Didn't do as you said last, got it working (as I was fully in that config mode), but forgotten Sys.txt change to make for GPS
once in TC- located iGO and have had some success

and this is as where I have in DRIVE folder have placed TC, then within DRIVER Folder There is DRIVE folder- there too- both TC renamed as Drive.exe

now, start up TC, locate iGO- looking for GPS signal

proof, that it works

ANW- so where them three files should be?
and obviously such file config might be wron for app to be run via TC only.... (inconvenient)
Is it necessary to do something with TC before I would reconfigure files as per your say?
Thus would have to be as:
Original DRIVE; Map; Sample Sound; Sample Picture and- Primo folder contents added to DRIVE + maps should go?

I fear there may be issues with the GPS hardware still being unavailable as "Autodetecting GPS receiver" means iGO cannot see the GPS receiver, But it's late now so we'll try loading the original software and killing it tomorrow.

Maps go in Primo\Content\Map*.fbl and Poi's go in Primo\Content\*.poi
You can delete Total Commander now and rename the Primo directory to Drive and iGO.exe to Drive.exe

If while on the map screen the banner at the top says "Looking for satellites..." or similar then the GPS receiver has been found, but "Autodetecting GPS receiver" means it hasn't.
