Would someone show me how to update Maps on this Magellan RoadMate 1400 gps please?

These are some information I have been observing from this device:

1) When I took the SD Card out and turned the device on, I got "SD card has been removed. Program will restart. Please insert SD Card with map" message on the screen. If I clicked on "OK" button without inserted the SD Card, the device rebooted and gave me the same message again. But if I inserted the SD Card, it will be rebooted into the normal gps screen.

2) On the "Product Information" page, I got "Model name: Magellan@ Roadmate. Model number: 1400 US. F/W version: 3.12. H/W version: 6. Product ID: 754".

3) On the "Map Information" page, I got "Geographic area: USA. Basemap NavStreets version: 31. Detailed map NavStreets version: 31".

4) I included some of the pictures I took from the device; (1) picture of the SD card, and (1) picture of the root of the device.
