Your unit will work nicely with 'Igo8 myway' and Navteq Map 2011. Just find it on this forum and put all in one folder on your SD card. I have tried many other including Sygic MMI version 6.0 for win ce 6.0 , which is also decent. Find that here.

Plz donot post duffgen to misguide other members. 'Igo8 my way' works perfectly fine on win ce 6.0 with Navteq 2011 India maps. I am using it in my car indash.

Garmin works only with garmin gps devices. I am trying to get one working on my win ce 6.0 Chinese unit. It loads the interface but it says 'connection to only garmin gps is permitted'.

Yes it will. But not with iGO8.3.x, Amigo or Primo. They use .fbl maps. I've been doing this for a long time; I know what I'm talking about. If you have a .fbl map for India that works with the above please upload it.

You're wrong. Garmin is Linux-based [true] but Garmin Mobile XT has been modified for WinCE. I suggest you look at my signature. And yes, it works 100%.

As far as Garmin goes I think you missed the point that it loads interface. Yes I am talking about Garmin Mobile XT for win ce 6.0 with India map Image. SW unl procedure has been tried several times. It loads up everything fine, then scans for GPS but says 'Connection only to Garmin GPS allowed'. It gives an option for other GPS but once again same thing comes up. Secondly it wants to activate online, but indash unit does not have any connectivity.

No, I didn't get insulted so don't worry about it. Thanks for the apology though. Yes, the India map DOES work fine with iGO My Way but it doesn't seem to work well with iGO 8.3.x, Amigo or Primo for some reason. Probably a license thing. In the years I've been doing this, NO ONE has gotten a fbl map for India to work. I hear what you're saying and maybe it WILL work this time. That's why I asked you to upload it.

I think you missed a post I made awhile ago that Garmin Mobile XT does not work with all devices. Some device manufacturers put in a proprietary code that prohibits some stuff being edited. Your device might just be one of them.

Sorry man.. Garmin works very perfect on my Wince6 Chinese PNA.. version 20 and also version 30.. also Ausus. all three work perfect with latest India map.. you are making some mistakes i think.

My mistake. Sorry Dear I wanted to say Last release.. which is in 2011 .. That is the last release for iGo8.. after that there is no release for India Map.
