Maps problem on Binatone F430

Postby gugutm » Fri Aug 16, 2013 10:57 pm

Hi everyone

i have some problems with my binatone f430

in the past i was able to upload in the 2 gb memory card igo primo2 and Europe maps, but unfortunately i lost the sd card and i just bought the new one yesterday, so i read the post which i followed before and upload everything but it doesnt want to load iGo

i download primo2 from Yurbuh Tuggly post i renamed the primo2 to MobileNavigator also primo.exe to MobileNavigator.exe
olso i created SHELL.ini file where i add the command \SDMMC\MobileNavigator\MobileNavigator.exe

but unfortunanty it doesnt want to boot i really dont know where is the problem , my binatone is ce6 olso i tried two different SD 2gb cards no luck.

is there anyone can help please?

many thanks

If you plug the device into the computer and browse it's files, does the sdmmc drive show up?

What format is the card, should be fat32?

Sounds like you're doing everything right, I'm at a loss to explain why it doesn't work.

Try creating a shell.ini that points to \Windows\explorer.exe, this will load the desktop.

Should be...

\windows\explorer.exe

This will load the desktop, you can use an explorer window to start iGO...

i am going to throw away my binatone from the window, its steal no working,

ok what i done in the shell.ini i delete \SDMMC\Windows\explorer.exe and just left \Windows\explorer.exe
i redownload all primo2 from Yurbuh Tuggly post

i renamed the folder in mobilenavigator and the primo2.exe in to mobilenavigator.exe
in the maps folder i add UnitedKingdom_R3_TomTom_2012.12_130227.fbl
my sd card is formated in fat32
properties shows be out maps that i have 199 Files, 13 Folders + shell.ini

the sys.txt
[debug]
skip_eula=1
experimental_features=1

[folders]
has_secondary_root=0

[interface]
show_exit=1
extra_settings=1

[other]
demo_enabled=0

[vr]
disabled=1

also i mentioned that when i put fresh copy of mobilenavigator folder +shell.ini in the sd card, and when i put sc card in the my binatone one more folder appears called MapLoader is that okey?

I never saw a maploader window?

Start from the beginning.

Is this a new problem on a previously working device?
Or is it a new device to you and this is the first time you've tried primo on it?
It's definitely shell.ini and not shell.ini.txt?
The path in shell.ini exists, check it with activesync?
