hi folks got this off a friend to update and i put the maps in , and i followed fatboyfun's instructions about MNADVANCE but accidently deleted the original ones :( now when boot ing i'm getting message


panic alert in myflash disk\menu\init.d\k60navacation.lua:


any help please

An update i'm getting windows ce up its asking me for a path to follow any ideas which one ???

no mate can i make it a tom tom i'm really new to this i can sort garmins out but this is way diffrent i have 4 gig sd card ready

I'm sure my fellow mod Yurbuh Tuggly has one of these devices, so you're better off waiting for his advice, Tomtom might work but iGO primo will work and is better...

A search of medion will turn up plenty of threads, Primo (if you download YT's build) doesn't need much installing, just add maps and copy to device/sd card, and edit some files on my flash disc.

I can provide any original replacement files for GoPal you might need (if the versions are the same), but clue me in a bit of what it is you are trying to accomplish?

What are the DATES of some of the existing files in the Navigation folder on the device...look with a File Manager?
Mixing different versions will cause even more problems.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

No. Don't delete anything. The way the device is, one thing relies on another thing which relies on another thing........and all must be the same version.
All my GoPal original software and modules have a date (mostly) of 1/12/2010 (January is first digit) for GoPal Navigator 5.5 A (AE).
If yours is GoPal 6, mine won't work.
I will wait to hear before I post anything.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

The attached is my mnavdce.exe...it might work, it might not (from version 5.5 and yours is 5.0). But probably no harm will come since you no longer have the file at all. Unzip on your PC and copy to where the original mnavdce.exe was on the device. Reboot the device, and see what happens.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

worked a treat turns out the format of maps i installed are nor supported i need me 5.0A-83252 :(
