I have an old medion pna315 pulled out of cupboard
it is running wince core5 and thy dont seem to be updating this unit ,so as i already have a tom tom is there any way to make this medion run tomtom
when i conect it to computer it comes up as a removale device
not a letter
any help if it can be done or not

If this unit uses a SD card then the method here:

may be of use to you for TomTom particularly if the current GPS program is run from a SD card.
