Did you back everything up first? Try pointing the device to read from the SD card and try renaming the igo8.exe of the download to whatever the .exe of the program that works.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

Please do NOT post any thanks. Simply press the hand icon with the "thumb up" which is the thank you button.

I would assume via "My Computer" after you connect your device via the USB cable. Open up the internal files and look in there.

Is there an AppStartupSec.ini in Program Files\Navman? It appears the unlock can't find it.

Post the contents here...

Is the AppStartupSec.exe application 140KB in size?

There should be a AppStartupSec.ini file in there, I bet this is why the unlock fails!

This is the content of my original AppStartupSec.ini (Mio M400)

[Process1]
RelativePath=TRUE
ProcessFile=SmartST_CE.exe
ProcessCmdLine=
ProcessDbgFile=SmartST_CEDbg.exe
ProcessDbgCmdLine=
MaxRestarts=3
Major=TRUE
WindowName=SmartST_CE
MaxCloseMessages=10

And after unlocking...

[Process1]
RelativePath=FALSE
ProcessFile=\Program Files\Unlock\PNADesktop.exe
ProcessCmdLine=
ProcessDbgFile=SmartST_CEDbg.exe
ProcessDbgCmdLine=
MaxRestarts=3
Major=TRUE
WindowName=PNADesktop
MaxCloseMessages=10
LockedRelativePath=TRUE
LockedProcessFile=SmartST_CE.exe
LockedWindowName=SmartST_CE

drop them into the program files\navman folder

Make a backup of the original AppStartupSec file first
