Explain how you tried to create the shortcuts and did you change the backlight setting in sys.txt?

BTW, Primo2 on the S30?

Primo 2 is not recommended for the S30 as it will run out of memory, I am surprised you even managed to get it to run, suggest you try iGO8.
If you unlocked it with the navman unlock you won't need to worry about the backlight.
The name of the sd card is called "Storage Card"

Edit the sys.txt on your pc when the S30 is connected to it.

Sounds like a resolution issue, the should be a done or next button in the lower right of the screen, but the incorrect resolution prevents you from seeing it and therefore progressing.

Have a look in the sys.txt and change any references to resolution from 480_272 to 320_240

What are the names of the iGO folder and executable?

Please be exact with the names, Copy and paste them if you can.

29#"\Storage Card\iGO8\iGO8.exe"

Copy and paste the above into a text file and save as iGO.lnk (LNK)

Copy this newly created iGO file to Program Files\Unlock\Desktop on your device.

It might be in the drive root, This is on the internal memory (My Flash Disk)

You are looking for a desktop folder...
