What program are you talking about?

Honestly, I've never seen that particular error message. FBF?

I've never seen that error message either, BTW There's no need to update the basemap, it doesn't contain road data, and country borders don't change that often.

The word "exception" would suggest it's a programme crash the developers never accounted for.

hi hi amd using the same software it loads but gets stuck on loading... and thoughts any one?? thx

Where does it get stuck on loading? and is this a new error on an previously working system, or a new build?

Tue Mar 26, 2013 1:19 pm

a new build with igo ig goes through loading and stops at loading just before the last bit where you would get to licence accept section( does it make a difference if the unit is working on wince 4.2 or wince 5.00 as some navsure were 400i 4.2 and 420i were wince 5.00)

Delete the save folder, try again, note that a new save folder will be created.

I got rid of the error from ffsurface. but I have noticed with my sys file on the original card tells my card to go through a addon card. but with the files I got from kilo the sys file reads different so I try and copy that onto my sd card put it in the device then comes up with iderror is there away round I can re-write my sys file without the iderror?
