The tool I posted is safe to use, the memory division is set to halfway by default.

It doesn't matter where you put all the files add long as they're in the same directory.

32MB is too low for any recent GPS app.

Getting into the windows ce control panel would be my next move.

Open MobileNavigator.mscr with NotePad on your PC and add this line to the bottom...

Run ("\Windows\Control.exe")

...rerun the app and the control panel should appear, take a photo and post here (it's in Chinese) I'll show you what to do pictorially...

Here is a short picture guide to change the system memory division...

Double click this icon...

Click the 'Memory' tab, 2nd from left!

Note where the slider is, usually it's in the middle...

Tap OK to save...


If the slider is already as far left as it will go then you have a 32MB device and it will struggle with modern applications.

It is common for devices to only have one language installed...

Devices can only be 'upgraded' so far, Then you run into hardware limitations.

Not unless you can find a higher capacity memory IC that has the same pin-out and have access to a surface mount jig to swap them over, In short, No.

hi fat.. i manage to install CG 7.2.0.55 on my win CE device, it is working with no problem (i.e without crashing).. but only problem is there is an error on "MAP'S LICENCE VIOLATION" and it does not support to navigate. i have use one cgmap available for our country. please tell me how to get rid of the above error msg and start navigation..

if anybody got an idea pls.. you welcome to share it...
