Dear All; lets discuss about SITIGID cityguide too.

I have chinese made car navi (WIN CE6), I managed to install and run Cityguide v.5.0.0.43, it is working fine after some efforts

however, the latest addition of v.7+++ does not work on my navi set.
I managed to install v.7.0.0.22, but crashes as soon as unit gets GPS signal. ( I get one dialog box with som chinese text, only readable thing "BLUELINE" word in English. Can anybody explain me what it is and why it is...

I got a evaluation copy of v.7.2.0.XX too, it is working fine but, warning msg "MAP VIOLATION" appears and program quits....

Pls help to sort this out

I've done this before with Chinese text error messages on wince

Take a photo, as clear as you can get it, crop out everything apart from the text and upload it to a online OCR site that decodes Chinese, you may just get squares back, (it's in Chinese) copy paste that into google translate and you should get English back

It may not be a perfect translation but it'll give you an idea...

opps, tks lot, but mine error msg is something else.. may be some memory raleted matter.. but v5 works well. (it used give me some trouble and always "seeking" and "seeking"

However it suddenly it started working well. the map i got for v5 is not good for 3D, v7 map is really good.

by the way have you got an idea to get rid of "MAP VIOLATION"... which appears on my screen as sson as i started v.7.2.0.22 and program close. in fact i'm using a cracked version and i came understand the released version of v7.2.0.22 mant for devices with internet. (for activation). however i managed to cracked it and register it with v5 licence.

I have never seen this programme so I wouldn't have a clue

Don't need the translation for that, That's the standard Windows CE low memory error.

You just need to set the memory division...

I was thinking my system is win CE6 but, now it is found to be WinCE5, the RAM found to be just 32MB, any chances of increasing it?
(extremly sorry deviation fro the topic.. i cannot run none of Navitel too... sometimes i get "unable to find Navitel.ns2..." or " instruction at [0xf000fe74] reads from address Invalid Handler [0x0028e874] (Build 5 0 0 xxxx)"
