iGO doesn't write to the SD card immediately, it caches the data and writes it to the card periodically.

So after the initial set up, shut down iGO by using the exit option before turning the device off, under normal usage you won't need to do this.

Do you have the countrymap ( .fbl file) of your current location in the the folder content/map ?
It can take some time before map shows up so have some patience.

I've got a Snooper S7000, I was trying to unlock this device and change splashscreen and maps for igo and oziexplorer, but I can't get into this satnav.
The ActiveSync does't see this devices ( I've got two of them and I was trying to do this on two different computers ).
BTW the above links with maps are not working either.
I've seen on YouTube Snooper S7000 loaded with Becker maps by GPSAlcant, I was trying to contact them but he/she is not answering.
