Hi,
Apologies in advance if this has been covered anywhere before, but a cursory search has uncovered nothing on the matter.
My Father picked up a seemingly new old stock Syrius SNP500 from a local charity shop. After getting it home he discovered the SD card was missing rendering it useless. I've contacted Syrius and as of yet heard nothing back.
I was wondering if anyone had an image/software for the SD card to try and get this working, or if they know of any alternative software that will run on the device. I am really not bothered about it being up to date.
Thanks in advance.
James

In order to give the proper help we have to know about the device itself. We need to know the specifications of the device. Do a Google search and either list the specs or link us to the device page.

Unfortunately I could find very little info on the web.
But what I have gleaned from the manual:
Snooper Syrius SNP 500
CPU: Intel PXA-255
RAM: 32mb
OS linux 2.6x
gps: SiSRF Star 3
MAPs: Navteq

OS linux 2.6x
This rules out the vast majority, if not all of the software from this (and every other gps) site.
I think only Syrius can help.
