When you open the card in windows explorer you should see...

MobileNavigator
SHELL.ini

As when you open the MobileNavigator fodder you should see a bunch of folders and files including...

MobileNavigator.exe

And when you open SHELL.ini you should see...

\SDMMC\MobileNavigator\MobileNavigator.exe

Can you attach the picture in a zip file as the board resizes the pictures to fit a mobile screen and I can't see anything

Sorry I have now zipped. Also, not sure if this relevant? I have noticed when the card is inserted I receive a warning message: "the application failed to start. Do you want to reset back factory defaults?"

Please can you tell me where I will find the save folder?

Sorry, do you mean to delete everything on the card and start again?

No, the save folder will be in the MobileNavigator directory

What happens when you tap yes to the application failed to start question?

sorry, after I posted I realised the save folder will be in the MobileNavigator directory.

do you want me to still delete the save folder?

I only receive the warning message If I tap navigation, when I tap yes, ( which I have to do repeatedly) the warning disappears, but if I tap navigation again (which I have to do numerous times) the warning reappears

I have deleted the save directory and unable to tell you if it made any difference.

I am now unable to turn it on. the red lights on, but when I hold in the button nothing happens. I am having to charge it through the USB cable, it is my friends device I don't have a access to the car.do you think the battery is completely flat? Will I have to leave it a while to charge before it will switch back on? I know it seems to take forever to charge through the USB, when I see my friend, I will have to get her to give it a good charge on her Car Battery.

Sorry it's like I have said to you before I am new to sat nav as I don't own a car

The battery doesn't last long, the red light means charging, it'll go green eventually

You've done everything correctly as it is starting but failing, probably the amount of file operations has broken something somewhere, I will have a more in depth look later when I'm on a PC

okay thanks for all your help. I will leave it till you get back to me.

does it need some charge before it will switch back on? when I first got it out of the box I had it on charge through the USB for 12 hours and it didn't turn green but I was able to still turn it on, even though the light was red.

If it's completely dead then it will need to charge for a while before it switches on, but there sometimes is an on/off switch so check that.

A car charger can supply over 1 amp but USB from the computer can only supply 500mA, this is probably not enough to charge and use the device at the same time, leave it for a while
