Low memory constantly if I play some mp3 files or go back and forth through screens. Originally unit came with iGO8 AND maps became outdated, couldn't get it running with some updated maps i found so I used some kind of scrubbed down Primo version someone posted for me that reads M3 GPS i3 on the screen? Works better and maps are more up to date, but low memory problems all the time....
What Navi would anyone recommend that would a solid choice for running on this type of unit that would give me less of a problem. Just need something that works doesn't have to look all fancy and hi tech.

Either iGO8.3 or Primo i3 will do, you should check the system memory division as well...
Run \windows\control.exe and select the system applet, then the memory tab and adjust the slider all the way to the left.
Of course if WindowsCE is in Chinese then it's easier said than done...

Ok, I went back to iGO8 and while not as nice, seems to run better, will just need to get the newer maps going. This unit is in English, and I have tried the slider bar to the left, it always seems like when I go back in, it moves itself back to a default anyway and never where I moved it to!
I have especially had issues when running mp3s off of the usb or SD, it has crashes due to low mem alot so someone else told me it could be the bitrates, etc.
But I noticed when running iGO8 the screen touch response is much smoother than the i3 was, no more slight freezes.
Thank you!

There is a small tool that changes the memory division that you can run from a script before iGO.

How do i get this tool and is it something I can just add to the folder where iGO is or manually type it in the startup stuff under iGO menu?

1, Place these files in the same directory as the GPS application.
2, Rename the GPS executable to Navigation.exe
3, Set your device to run RenameMe.exe, If you need to rename the .exe then rename the .mscr to match, ie, MobileNavigator.exe and MobileNavigator.mscr
4, Reboot device.
