CarPC

Postby tylerrice » Mon Apr 01, 2013 7:01 am

Hi all I've just finished building up a mini-atx car computer to run centrafuse, instead of using a head unit. I've been trying to get the GPS program and maps sorted but struggling to find anything for Windows 7 and any guides on how to load the maps in...

If anyone could share programs, links and maps and a guide or info on how to do it would be amazing.

been trying to get Sygic Fleet 10 SDK, Garmin PC or other suggestions welcome

Will be hard as not many people use such systems or a laptop.
Those who do usually use Google for the road Navigation and somthing like Ozi Explorer for the rest.
There is not much out there for Windows and even less with a "cure" I'm afraid.
In times like these the way to go would be Android...

ABSOLUTELY! Just go to the iGO section, sub-section maps for Australia and more. Maps [.fbl] go into content\map.

Oh beautiful, thanks a million. I've been on 2 other sites and asked to just be ignored. I know if i searched i could have fond it but I have been searching and searching for a week now -.-.

Thanks for the fast help and being polite about it. not just replying with "Search box"

*I only asked about maps to make sure that I don't get ones for like an android device or an actual GPS device and are usable for windows version.

Lastly, you wouldn't know of any ways to get the Sygic Fleet In Dash SDK Pack with Nav and what not?

You have a lot going for you when you come to Navitotal for support. First of all, we have the most knowledgeable moderators and members than ANYWHERE else on the net. I'm not just saying that. We're all only unpaid volunteers and most of us came from another site to start Navitotal so you'll get the latest and the best here. As for Sygic, you would best served to make a post in Sygic general discussion.
