Rosen P11 IGo Primo 2.4 Autodetecting GPS Receiver...

Postby PilotRepair » Sat Jan 13, 2024 7:38 pm

I have a 2011 Rosen P11 unit for a Honda Pilot that I am trying to get navigation working on as the original microSD card puked on. After installing Primo 2.4 (9.6.13.405512) and adding a local map it starts fine in the vehicle except connecting to the GPS unit. In the sys.txt I've left "auto" for both port and baud settings with no luck. Anyone have any insight in to the values I need here? If not, can I just start adding a port and baud rate in the sys.txt file, starting the unit and waiting, and repeating until I get it? This sounds painful.

Solved! Browsing old posts where user: member249163/ suggested using previous sys.txt from Primo 2.0 and everything worked (in the previous sys.txt file the [gps] parameter is not defined).
