Can't find the Menu > Settings > GPS unfortunately. Can't find any settings referring to GPS.
sys.txt/system.ini won't help me further.

Thanks again.

You are using an IGO8, right? Not Primo.
Then you have the choice between the quick menu and the full menu.
In quick menu, you will see 4 buttons (speaker, moon, building and a film board) and also a volume slider. On the bottom right is either the word "GPS" or an image of a satellite. This button (at the bottom) opens the GPS Data screen with satellite information, information about data coming from the GPS receiver, and there is a shortcut to GPS Settings. The GPS receiver should be detected automatically.
The extended menu has more buttons (on 2 pages) and the GPS button is one of them. The function is about the same as said before.
Remember that a first satellite fix can take a while.

I sincerely HATE this system, seriously! Got the f*cking

"Previous instances of iGO 8 has not finished exiting yet. Please try again in a few seconds or soft-reset your device."

error again. Tried like everything but can't get it working. :013: :013:

Can boot from the Prime system, but when I quit the Prime system and try to boot from the original SD card, it give the error. Also tried to boot from Prime, quit "as it should be done", copied the original SD to the second SD, deleted the save folder, but it does NOT work!

Any idea's? :(

Did you try either of these versions?

iGO8: post137146.html#p137146 post#11
Primo 2.4: [Please Register or Login to download file]
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

Please do NOT post any thanks. Simply press the hand icon with the "thumb up" which is the thank you button.

It's been a while, tried many things and got at least the original navigation working again, and I finally got it working, I think.... :)

I've modified the Primo 2.4 version and got it working on my navigation. It dit detect the GPS settings. I've saved those, installed the other iGO version and modified the sys with the right GPS settings and hey... it worked.

So now I finally can modify the iGO Primo version with correct maps, voices, settings etc.

Thanks so far, will let you guys know if it works :023:

Did you get it worked by now?.. Got the same problem!

Got a worked SD-card right now, but i want to update de Map's. When i download new .fbl files, and change them for de old one, my rdn893BT says it doesn't recognize the SD-card anymore..

Anyone else maybe who can help me? Tips in this topic haven't give me the solution yet.
