Anyone here have this OODO 5008 Chinese OS Firmware package sharing to me here please......
Because when i using PPG X7 Taiwan, i go advance setting there the font become funny word.....
Here are the sample......

Hi,

This is one of the china GPS manufacture call 掌讯.
Try This go to WINCE
"Control Panel"--->"Regional and Language Options"
---->Choose under Region change to "Chinese (PRC)"

Hi,
You need to go into wince.
if your set did not have wince icon to go explorer, you need to tap on the main sreen left bottom 5 times follow by right bottom 1 time.
than go to(like windows XP) "Control Panel"--->"Regional and Language Options"
---->Choose under Region change to "Chinese (PRC)"

Your pnd is english version? can snap the system info to show me?

Do you know how to change the wallpaper when the device startup??

I only know it using the raw image file but i dun know make raw image..anyonr can help

try using photoshop to do it.....

Hi Chow,

I has flash the os to chinese, now can run ppg x7 tw, but the problem is when i go to advance setting, i still can't seen the chinese wording...it become funny word.....if i use x5se and go advance setting i selected English interface is ok, but if i choose chinese interface also same funny interface came out.....

If still cant display chinese words, try this:
Set your main menu to chinese(THE GPS IU IN CHINESE) and try again.

I have once have this GPS, is not very friendly in use.
This new so call A5 chip is slower than my MTK chip in getting signal.
