In this case please format the ROM and flash again, should be alright then. Let me know if you don't have the formatting tool.

Try this smaller application file, replace the initial one with this and flash together with the os file again

I think YF do not develope CE5 os for 82F firware with atlas IV gps chipset. But why do you want to downgrade?

Any help is welcome and I am very grateful!

I have this navigation
5", WinCE6, Atlas4 500mhz, 64mb
RomVers: 82AV6.090AM21405Q.3.2
6
Soft ver: V3.6.E019.11.19
OEM Info: YFAtlas4

So I have the following problem:
My bluetooth menu disappeared from original GPS Menu.
I tried to turn it back with factory settings but with no success.
Tried to reset it by reset button, but without success again.
Bluetooth is working because i tried it from other menu system, but it disappeared from original menu.
Please help me to solve this problem, I appreciate your help.

I'm looking also for original firmware, and if it is possible someone to tell me how to download original firmware from the navigation.

For these YFAtlas units, is there an unlock with menus which will prevent the YF bloatware from loading? This is for a 5", Win CE6, 480x272

If you are reffering to the main menu "application", you may modify the registry or write a script to kill it when launching navigation software

Can you please point me to some place where I can educate myself on how to do both/either?

Thanks.

The startup programs are located at HKLM\init . Edit the registry at your own risk, if not done correctly your GPS will become brick. The process of YF menu usually bearing the following names, just to name a few, use a "processes viewer" program to verify:

yfloader6.exe
yfloader.exe
color7shell.exe
color7moveshell.exe
iphoneshell.exe

and others

you may kill the above processes prior to navigation program launching and call them back after navigation finished.

Samkuek, Thanks for the information. Being a newbie to the scripting process can you please point me to someplace where I can start learning from (Kill processes - Start navigation program - Restart processes) . :)
