Any body know how to fix my bricked GPS? The GPS only show instruction to reinstall application from SD/MMC. I formatted accidentially. I just got Software version V3.6.E135.11.30, SIRF IV, 800x480, I have back up of YFAP folder but i don't know how to return to ResidentFlash2 folder.

Download the following file:
[Please Register or Login to download file]

Put downloaded file and your YFAPP folder in a FAT16 or FAT32 formatted 2GB - 4GB SD card, insert card in GPS and restart, GPS should go into explorer. Double tap My Device > Residentflash, on the address bar you will see "\Residentflash"; tap on the address bar to call out the mini keyboard, then add "2" at the back of "\Residentflash" ---> "\Residentflash2" then tap "enter" on the keyboard.

GPS should enter the Residentflash2 hidden partition, copy the entire "YFAPP" from SDMMC(SD card) to this Residentflsh2 folder, when finish pop out card and restart.

If GPS still show "Install application fron SDMMC", then you need to flash the gps again with the OS + YFAPP.WZP, do not flash the OS alone. When done, use the above procedure to restore your backup YFAPP folder to Residentflash2 partition.

Hi Monters GPS,

I need this file for the same problem. It seemed the file is no longer on the server. Can you please reupload the file?

I just bought the GPS a week ago from [Please Register or Login to download file] . 4 days ago, it just stopped at boot screen after editing the registry and installing MioPocket.:wallbash:
