Dear Monters
Thank very much for pm me! I have put the program, Malaysia map, and com1 happly file into my Chinese made GPS. The machine is a WinCE 6. I have done all the notes on your post#1. When I run the program, it displayed the message "Application start.exe encountered a serious error and must shut down". Can you show me how to solve the problem!

Renamed the happyfile to (Navi.exe)......
Then Try to delete inside save folder files, then run again!

Hi Monter,

I hv the same problem as dwschui... I have deleted all files in the SAVE folder, but still get the same error...

Any ideas??

EDIT:

I re-download the map files again, and copied it to the maps folder (without changing the hdr or gpb file), and now it launches.... nice interface, but the map view dont seem so pretty, still same-o same-o from X5... maybe i am wrong...

Anyway, one advice to all out there, use ONLY the map files attached by MonterGPS...

Device: Lokatoo A1000i, Win CE 6, Sirf Atlas IV, 128MB RAM

Thank you for your reply! Inside the happyfile folder there are 2 files (Navi.exe , Mobilenevigator.exe). Do you mean to rename the mobilenevigator.exe to Navi.exe and then rename the Navi.exe to Mobilenevigator.exe?

Delete the MobileNavigator.exe and delete inside save folder files.....then try run again using Navi.exe!

Dear Monters,

I did an experiment which stall my machine completely. I put the two happy files into the GPS. When I tried to run the Papago one with the Navi.exe file, the machine run the program for few seconds and prompted the message. It encouter a serious problem and has to shut down. I then tried to use the Mobilenevigator.exe to run the program, the machine immediately promted another message "something missing in the program and has to shut down" When I pressed the OK button, the screen turned white and stalled. Since this machine has no reset key, I have to wait until the battery is fulled drawn.

Have you encountered this problem before and is there any cue to solve the problem?

No GPS Signal, I am using PNA 400MHz, WInCE 5.0, COM_2, 57600 Baud. Starting all successful, Maps (Indonesia) OK too, but I miss GPS Signal.

A question : the "Com-2.zip" File, is it valid for different Baud rate ?? I Have Com_2, Baud 4800 and 57600.
