Mixing TTS files working in X6 & X7

doesnt seems to work when i try with x7 m3 nov2010 version and mfm map. it just went silent whereas non-tts files work fine. already tried both male and female version. any idea?
just curious, the file structure is different than the one I have. there is one folder named scansoft, which never appeared anywhere before. so, i just copy the whole nuance folder as it is?

Pls read here
How to install:
1)delete the Nuance folder (please do a backup of it)
2)unzip rar then copy the Nuance folder in.
3)Delete the Save folder but Backup your PPGPOI17.DAT(this is your Favorites files)
3)restart the gps and run your PPG


Notes only "one" TTS can works choose one you like most and Try it !!

Please feedback after trying it...

thanx for yr response. ive done what u listed in the first post. deleted nuance folder and replace with the one in the rar file (female tts). then deleted save folder contents except ppgpoi17.dat. restarted gps and ran ppg. when i selected the female tts (the one i chose) in the voice under adv setting and run the simulation, no voice guidance. other non-tts works fine in the simulation. does that cover all the necessary steps or did i miss something? appreciate yr help very much

All are correct. I have test 3 different sets all working . Maybe you try this
1)go "advance settings"
2)set voice type to "TTS(english Female)
3)quit the progam
4)delete the whole "save" folder NOTE wait till the TTS works then copy back the ppgpoi17.dat file
5)restart and run it

It should work.

i did what you listed above, even twice but still no tts sound. i even changed to male tts , still the same. is it bcoz im using x7 r6600 nov2010 edition? funny thing is that when i tried purenavi8 and gonav8 from another post, the tts works bcoz i can hear our local road name being pronounced. so, it seems that my pnd can still work with tts. so, im still hoping it to work in ppg. what abt the other 2 sets you mentioned abv, can i try it out?

The purenavi8 and gonav8 is using different types of TTS format.
As this is M3GPS Edition TTS. All the above mentioned sets i try is using this TTS files
only things is they are different manufacturer and all are working.
