eCnAv wrote:Thanks again Monters GPS. I have installed the exe file and deleted everything inside the SAVE folder, but still can't connect to any satellites
Strange.. X5 works @ COM2 Baud 9600.. just hangs my GPS after calculating route. so i always have to reset.
eCnAv wrote:i believe its a custom philippine map. i had the same problem with ppg x5 with different baud rate. but after changing it to 9600 using hex editor, it can already connect to its gps. i'll try again hopefully get lucky this time. do you have ppg x7? hopefully that'll do the trick.
thanks again.
eCnAv wrote:im using the same maps i had for ppgx5. i understand its mfm 100304. the software works. as well as the maps. if i click on mapview..then function..move to a state..then selecting a city..it shows the street. it just can connect to any satellite. the satellite icon on top right corner just kept on flashing with a red tringle and a question mark. same problem i had with x5 before changing the com port and baudrate.
does baudrates changes? or is it device specific?
