i already use mfm map also.. but same problem happened..
previously i use navnet maps (indonesian)..
does this version use different map format with X5 version?

The Base folder is in the main folder. Maybe it has been removed in your download. The M3X6 uses the same map as X5SE. When you changed from Navnet to MFM, please delete the files inside the Save folder except for the files with sys name and retry but backup first.
If still cannot, delete the Save folder and perform the register again. Please try yourself again because I don't face this problem.

this version got too many bugs...and no improvement at all...
the X5SE still by far the most stable and reliable work horse.

Dear pcsoon,

AFAIK, there's no hex change for video exit. When click video, the X6 will run a file called mediaplayer.exe.

For mediaplayer exit, what we do is rename the ori mediaplayer.exe to other name, copy an exe file which kill x6 and rename it as mediaplayer.exe. So when Video is clicked it runs a fake mediaplayer.exe which kills x6.

So you need to find the ori mediaplayer file inside your main folder and rename it back to mediaplayer.exe. Of course you also need to delete the fake one.

I agree with you. But they have released an update which is dated April 26. Does anyone have this and share?

Fo rme, I always keep a copy of my X5SE in my memory card as backup. Actually, I need just one reliable software and accurate and periodically updated map. That's why, if MFM don't do maps for PPG, my as well dump the PPG away. What's the point of having a gps without a accurate and updated map.

The reason for acquire newer version is just for testing. The X6HK routing is not suitable for Malaysia, X6.6TW is OK, M3X6 is OK and etc. I even have a copy of X7TW running with nice interface such as 3D ring menu and I don't even read Chinese! I am still struggling to modify the psu file into English but still learning.

Apart from PPG, I have MK landmark and Igo Primo. For MK landmark, have to use MSM latest map dated April. Don't bother to use the version by MK because it is more than 200mb of crap. It does not even have the road to my house which existed for 10years! Igo Primo is beautiful but the map is not as update (it has the road to my house). But if you put in the premium South East Asia dem file, all mountains and valleys come to life especially driving hilly roads.

Mediaplayer.exe and mediaplayer.dll. Copy into main folder.

Refer to the above file by moscow. Extract it and copy into main folder. Make sure you rename the fake mediaplayer first.

Replace Mediaplayer.exe from your X6 root folder using this file :
Exit via [color="Lime"]Video icon[/color] not via [color="Red"]EXIT[/color] icon.

I used the exit by tiuniama. Refer to post #186 : http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?921-PAPAGO!-X6-M3GPS-Edition/page19

For me, when click exit, it exits completely. I left the video icon untouched. I think your hex has been edited.

Let's see anyone can share their working exe file.

I suspect your exe modified. Use this



Inside have m3x6.exe for com 1, if other com please ask.
Inside also have share_en.psu. Copy and replace */Organic/En/share_en.psu
Run from this exe. But make backup before run.
