The Nuance Is only can worked for Original papago device! Generic Pnd will not functional and will get error if you insert this Nuance folder to your program!

For navibacklight.exe. you must tell us what is your device COM!

Hi Bro,

I have installed the files and able to run X8.5. however I got 2 issues. Firstly it does not shut off then power is cut, the warning message comes on but after ten secs it disappears and leave the unit powered on. Secondly no voice was heard. ( I have installed the sound files)

FYI,

First. This is OEM version for Wayway Q4033 model but is not for R5800 model, we had tested running on generic pnd it can exit program when pressing EXIT button! But we never test on Original Papago R5800 device.

Secondly. when you start the program did you heard the welcome sounds?
If yes, maybe you had installed incorrect for the sounds folder!
You cannot choose (TTS voice).....Because we doesn't include this Nuance Folder files.
Please see this attach for the sounds reference:

Sorry, Am not really understand what do you mean!

For this X8.5 OEM, if you want to exit program with power off your device, i recommend you pressing your device power button to off it!

Try to turn on your device first before you connect to the usb to your computer!
Usually Papago device it need to run the software first then only can connect your usb from computer to your device!

I did that, it prompts me to go into usb disk mode. I press ok, it launches and show the disk mode screen, but my com will not detect it.

*update,

I think i would be able to do it in win ce mode. will try first.

The last chance is restart your computer then try again.....

If still the same, then you have to send back where you buy and ask them to restore back X3 for you!
