ok, got the apps and the latest map. here's my view. the menu interface is more colourful with more detailed icons than ppg. some like it, some may not. it doesnt have multiple pages that needs to be scrolled with arrows, so more convenient. there is only one page to choose from.

the advance settings menu is more user-friendly since they are grouped to 8 categories, easier to find, not in a long list that you have to, again, scroll down before changing the settings.

the navi screen looks similar to ppg x5 or x6, except a few differences. the panel on the left during navigation (direction arrow) and the current road status bar at the bottom centre is translucent (see thru). this is good bcoz it makes the viewing area seems bigger. the colour scheme of the navigation screen is using brighter colours e.g. red and yellow. again, some like it, some may not. the map is using customized icons for poi, similar to mfm map. The only thing not good is the junction view, which looks like its using a general view for all its junctions (maybe i'm wrong) and the view perspective is too far away with the sky filling more than 3/4 of the view. this doesnt help to identify clearly the junctions.

overall, it looks different than ppg by using brighter colour scheme and colourful icons. however, the junction view need a lot of improvements.
