Hi exz8,

Why don't you try the files on post 1. Download the link for Thailand map which consist of part1, part 2 and part 3. It is huge, around1 Gig and took me 3 hours to download. But after extract, you get not only the Thailand map, but almost complete set of Powermap software. After that, download the happy files on post 1 also. If you use happy files on post 1, you can see the Thailand map in Thai language or English. If you need Malaysia map, you can download on post 1 and you will get Malaysia-100803.

Regards,
gpsforever

Hi exz8,
No wonder your device will not detect the satellit since you use com1 and com 2 (see from your attached picture), as I know you need com 7.

You only need one com in your device (if it can locked the satellite in C1 then cannot use C2 or other com else), please check what com your device will locked the satellite, to check it you can try this small exe to find com and baud in your device: http://www.navitotal.com/forums/noref.php?url=http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6599614/GPSScan_Debug.exe

Hi Prapan21,
You shall use C1_4800 (com 1 only), and I do not understand why it showed error if you use long distance? do you mean you tried it (in your car) on long distance road? or tried to navigate in software (press address and route to destination?). At night cannot navigate?

Perhaps Prapan has use the wrong map header.
Error only result from maps.
Wrong com and baud only cannot fixed GPS positioning.

Yes you're right, this could be map problem, but dont think wrong header, if the header problem, it will failed when starting.

Hi Nagas.
Use C1B4800 navigation in long distances across the city to another city, it was found that caused the error as soon as the C2B4800 day, it can be used to receive satellite channels like C1B4800 but the night mode C1B4800 not available for Navigation C2B4800 program and can not get satellite signals
