I think your device has been modifed, so after start it will jump to windows...
As I know it should start to original main menu....I think the original setting (before you modified, it is in auto adjustment position, there is tap on/off). If you cannot reach this setting then it will stay in position Auto Adjustment, trying to change from control-panel backlight control wont work since auto-adjustment still unchanged.

If you want to try, you can use CETotalCommander/explorer and go to windows folder and find "Startgps.ink" (other papago device has this name), if press this, it will start to Original Main Menu.
But pls consider it as at your own risk, since maybe you will get unexpected result.

I spent many hours fixing comport by IDA pro and UltraEdit, doesn't work. My exe file is here [Please Register or Login to download file] any hsuggestion?

Can you explain more detail:
- What papago version you want to run? X6 R6100 M3Asia or X6 Thailand M3GPS ? Because your file attched is for X6 Thailand not X6 R6100.
- What COM and Baud your GPS working?

Mine is Comport=7, Baud=4800
I try to change the comport on my file, but messing up. try X6_R6100_C74800 and it works to find the GPS.
I don't know what to do just try everything out. I got 2 machine.
-one is NAVMAN F25S (Com2 Buad4800)
-and another one is Telesystem 8500(Com7 Baud4800)
I don't even know what comport of the file " X6 Thailand M3GPS" and I guess I don't know the address of my com and baud on the file. try
COM : 0x67148h
Baud : 0x67164h
COM : 0x76d84h
Baud : 0x76da0h
and it was not right.
Can you give me any suggestion.

All papago version can set com&baud as what your gps device need.

This is the first time I'm getting into HEX-thing. took a lot of time. gave up over and over..................
Finally, I DID IT. SO HAPPY...
now I got X6_THAI_Com7BUAD4800 on Telesystem8500
and X6_ Com2 BAUD4800 on NAVMAN F25S
looking for Thai Map with Thai language................ and all will be done

Can help me.
I have one problem, when destination poi select & after click GO button ,progress bar appear a second & system immediately shutdown . After that i try ON system again, but welcome screen appear and shutdown. If i want to enter the system again i delate SAVE Folder or file inside folder and system.bin
For info RegCode successful set and no offset appear and MFM Maps i run on X5SE is ok. All file i take from this forum.
