Hi Monters GPS,
Papago R6300 can use for OEM car DVD GPS systems?
Or have other version OEM Papago x8.5 in SD card?

Is depend on your car gps system!
May i know your car din system?
Is running on wince 5.0 or wince 6.0?
Ram is 64 or 128?

I bought one 7" car DVD player with GPS, Specifications as below:
Can I use R6300 for my device or must use OEM version with SD card?

Operating System: Windows CE 6.0
Power :12V DC(allowable range:10.8-14.5V)
Consumption: 4.5w(12v/360mA); Normal power consumption: 3w(12v/250mA)
GPS Processor: ARM-11
Max. main frequency: 600Mhz
Chip modules: SiRF-Prima
Storage Memory: 128MB
GPS resolution output: 800*480
GPS receivers channels: 20
The biggest velocity: 515m/s
The biggest fixed height: 18000m
Display output: CVBS or S-VIDEO output
Supported Maps: Papago, IGO, Route66 etc

Yes, Your car din system can support for R6300T X8.5 and also OEM X8.5 software.

You need to let me know your car din system COM and BAUD!

If you not sure, please download this application and extract it into sdcard then insert to your car din and run test the COM and BAUD: [Please Register or Login to download file]

What is the din and com? and later can show me how to install the download files into my device.

The din is your car dvd player+gps, we called it Car Din player (For single Din), Car 2Din Player (For double Din) Player.

The Com is for the GPS port, difference gps hardware difference COM port no! The Com port can be: Com 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9.

The Baud is GPS Baudrate, Difference GPS hardware difference Baudrate! The baudrate can be: 4800/9600/14400/19200/38400/57600.

already got my device info, the device is double din, and the com port is com2 , baud 4800.
Can you send me for Papago OEM X8.5 for me and also teach me how to install to my car 128MB ram. what size of SD card to use on Map, 256MB enough? or 1 GB?

After finish downloaded all part,follow this step:

1. Extract (X8.5M3_OEM_800x480.zip) to sdcard, then you will get (Navi) folder.
2. Extract (Sounds.zip) into sdcard/Navi/Sounds/xxx.......(sounds files).
3. Extract (X8.5oem_C2.zip) into sdcard/Navi root folder.
4. Extract (MFM-PPG-X8.5-111208.rar) into sdcard/Navi/Maps/MFM-PPG-X8.5-111208/xxx.......(Maps files).
5. Run program using (X8.5oem_C2.exe).
