I'm using the malfreemaps maps dated 26/1/2011. It shows correctly with X5SE, but does not show correctly with X7 m3gps edition in 3d mode. How to rectify this.

TQ

Have you put envi_data folder inside X7?

any chance the map header file play a role here? Where can i get the appropriate map header?

BTW, comparing with X5SE, i guess the resolution with this x7 is not 800x400.

1. Map Header will help Soft to identified map files, only M3GPS map header will be read by M3GPS Soft, that's why if you put other map although it is papago but not from M3 it will not be detected.
2. X7 M3 800x480 is only in this thread ...

X7 Soft 800x480 with com 2 without map, if you use MFM or Navnet then no need to change header

it worked great after putting in the envi_data.

However, the travel computer still doesnt show the coordinate, and the speed bar is full - whereas in x5se, the bar is progressive according to speed.

Any way that I can rectify this?

Regards

Can it get the satellites locked? If it is locked yet then you will see coordinates

Satellites locked in the system status screen and navi was correct. However, the satellite icon with ? blinking on the top right of the screen.

Another thing is, how to make the text, esp the POI text, smaller? Th text size is to big.

Regards

Blinking antenna on the top of screen indicates not unlocked yet... you can check GPS Status (click blinking antenna icon), see whether it is fixed or not fixed

Replace this file into the maps folder and run again.....it will reduce the text size.
