But the video player cannot run..

Hi,

Video player for this version is not working...yet. Because this version uses different mediaplayer from the rest. It is located inside the Player folder but cannot run.

If you want to use the video player function in the program you have to modify the program path from \hdd\navi\player to something like \sdmmc\navi\play.
However whatever you choose you will have the problem with error message "You cannot play, navigation is running".

The video/music function using the program mp3.exe and mp4.exe is the same one included in the China made gps system by YF

Hi, pgoh101,

Thanks very much for your contribution. The exit suspend is working fine.

Regarding the mp3 or mp4, I still can use the mp3 and mp4 player that comes with my PND device. How about the Snap.exe function? Can you make it work?
I tested with original R6100, it will snap a screen picture and save inside the Snap folder.

Thanks.

The snap function shud work, only have the change the snap.ini setting to the correct path

InitRun=1
InitEnable=1
CARNAVIKey=0x85
ActionKey=0x84
EnableKey=0x7B
DisableKey=0x7F
ExitKey=0x86
SavePath=\SDMMC\Navi\Snap
ResetCounter=284
ExePath=\SDMMC\Navi
ExeName=\Snap.exe
SnapTime=3000

Any idea to change MP4.exe using MediaPlayer.exe to make it run in Papago? Maybe rename MediaPlayer.exe to MP4.exe after change destination file....

I think that is possible by changing MediaPlayer.exe to MP4.exe and move it to \SDMMC\player directory together with the corresponding dll files.

I try that out first and posting the findings later

Snap function

Postby pgoh101 » Sat Sep 11, 2010 12:21 pm

@gpsforever

After some testing, even after changing the snap.ini. The fuction does not work, maybe some of the dll files are missing and are stored somewhere (possible in \Windows). I do not have the original machine to check.
