Hi,

First of all, if you start with the normal exe, you will get map shift because of piracy protection of the software. When you have map shift, the maps are not showing your actual location accurately, therefore making this software useless. I think they are adjusting the WGS84 map reference position. In order to remove the shift, a correct reg number have to key in and after that the software will generate a file called system.bin here Navi/System/system.bin . There are 2 ways now to enter registration number, one way is to use modified exe called openReg.exe or just delete the file system.bin and start with the normal exe.

Hi,

I receive your PM. The method are as follows:

1) Downloaded the software. Extract all and put inside a folder on the root of your memory.

2) Download maps. In Malaysia, you can use MFM maps. Preferably C100415a version. Download additional map files from here: http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?2507-PAPAGO!-X7-Reality-M3GPS-Edition&p=12205#post12205 and use the files corresponding to your map.

3) Download Voice folders for the voice you need here: http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?2509-ALL-PAPAGO!-Content-!!
Extract the the voice files and you will get Voice folder, Eg. VoiceEN for English and put the whole folder inside Sounds folder. Eg: /Navi/Sounds/VoiceEN . You can download other voice language later.

4) You have to download happy files correspond to your GPS com and baud. Happy files are modified exe files and you have to use this to start your X7. X7 have a few protection by locking to the original device, locking the com and baud and now the map shifting. The happy files are able to unlock and open the com and baud to others. But for the map shift, you have to key in the right combination to unshift it.

5) The rest, please read the above post. Happy trying.

Use this small soft http://www.navitotal.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=1327&d=1283678932 , put it in your ppg device and run it from explorer, you will get com and baud that work on your device.

Bro, I've download the program but my Papago R5800 wince 6 do not respond anything after I click AutoDetect GPS 1.0 where I put at \SDMMC\AutoDetect GPS 1.0 (root of mem card).

I double click it on my pc and it says "Search for GPS on Port 16"

I've download both files. 4800 and reg make the same result.
It can open the x7 but on navigation mode, got lock symbol and the road like Garmin locked map.
2nd thing, the devide cannot exit or suspent.

I try both of the file, and success open X7 Reality. On glance, seeing perfect. But in Navigation mode, there is key symbol (maybe means unlock).
2nd. the device cannot shut down or suspend.

When press X7_C74800_OpenREG.exe is show :

Sorry, I mean you should use X7_C7 (com 7)
dont matter with the lock icon there, you can click it open/close. What you must see is where is your car/triangle? is it already in your position now (current position? or shifted ? to know this you must get the satellite and locked...if shifted then use reg.exe and put code, example see post#10

I use X7 C7 to open. After satellite lock, It brings me not to actual where I am. But it lock me at the sea (far from actuall location).

How To :
1. Start program from X7 with OpenReg.exe------> Use COM as your GPS COM Port.
2. Key In Reg Code---> Trial and error to find correct position. I got correct result 0799000000.
3. After got correct position...next time run program using X7_C..... (without Open Reg and use suitable COM as your gps).

I've pass the 1st step and got a bit experience in next.
