Navnet must be extract on different folder then default that give.
Please extract :ie. D:\GPS World\GPS Map\PAPAGO\INDONESIA\V_1.72

You will get all file there.

It's a 3.5" China PND i bought from Dealextreme.
Quite cheap,, i plan to put Papago in it, and give to my sister to use,
which they don't demand for big screen.

See attached the "HoluxNavi.exe" which is extracted from a H branded GPS my friend just bought recently.
It's a Papago X3.
In the "About" page,, it shows the version number as :
0323N
001.0 .001 .2009/04/21

I want to make this work in my China made PND, but i couldn't due to different comport setting.
(it uses com7 inside the orginal device)

First i want to UPX decompress it,, but failed.
I guess need to modify the UPX0/1/2/!.
Can any experts help me with this issue ? (possibly,, mod the exe to work with Com1.

Using ultraedit change :

0x200h : 64 61 74 61 ---> 55 50 58 30
0x228h : 64 61 74 61 ---> 55 50 58 31
0x3e0h : BD A0 AF 09 ---> 55 50 58 21

save as holux.exe

on UPX please type : upx -d holux.exe

Yes, thanks Ian, I now can decompress the exe.
The next steps should be :
1. Unlock
2. Set comport
3. Set baudrate
Can you please enlighten me where/how to set the above mentioned ?
