I had just tested on my 4.3 inches Wince 6 China made gps unit without problem. It is version 5.2 build Nov 23, 2009.
Indeed surprise to see that the exe file does not require to be unlock to work.

If you still have the version 5.2 build Nov 23 , 2009 then use ultraCompare to compare both the exe file and maybe you can find out how it was unlock.

For X5SE chinese, I have check using IDA Pro, there is another way to bypassing method. If you do change (0xD014h) 00 00 50 E3 -----> 01 00 50 E3 that's mean program pass device initialize but on X5SE that gpsforever give, that erase block for choosing/chacking, just passing without initialize device. please check next hex line they change 1A-->EA.
If you know how we bypassing MTK proc to work on Sirf atlas ( last time on X3 Holux) this same method.
But what we have problem on X6 M3 is different.
1. Papago read data coordinate from GPS device.
2. Papago make coordinate data from gps device NOT directly bring to maps or program output (showing on map) but M3 make calculation or factor that "suspected" come from coredll.dll.
3. When program make calculation +factor X from coredll.dll then coordinate will same with input data coordinate that get from gps device (system status) then if program cannot fine that factor from coredll.dll so the coordinate will be wrong (1+1=2 but wil 1+0 = 1)------> ha..ha...
4. in my head now just 2 think :
>> Find coredll.dll from original R6600 ( compare different on IDA with coredll from generic gps)
>> Find hex adreess than command program to make calculation coordinate from gps device -------> by passing or erasing that calculation make coordinat output will same with input.
5. Still looking on IDA and waiting someone backup their R6600 for getting coredll.dll.

I realiase that there is no voice alert for speed camera. Only the camera sign keeps blinking on the top corner.Other than that it works perfect.

try to change your language to English (without tts). Even the speed alert and " searching for satellite" will also function.

Hi gpsforever,
The language is already set to english(without tts).The searching for satelite is functioning well. Its only the speed camera alert. Speed cam warning is set to "Voice warning" but only the camera picture blinks on the top corner & no voice saying "speed camera".

Please check inside "Sounds" Folder, is there any .wav file name : SpeedCamera.wav ? if not there is file attached.
Don't have speed camera here so I cannot test it.

I've already checked my device & the file is there. The funny part is there is no sound for the camera alert.

I have check on Ultra edit, There is facility to give warning when speed camera, see here :


Also check on SpeedCamera.wav----->sound is Titt...Titt....Titt....
If you hear sound like this so speed camera warning work. or you can use this file attached.

Replace your existing SpeedCamera.wav.
Test with setting speed camera setting -----> Voice Warning ( what result)
