Thanks to all for the help. I finally did it. I don't know why the port was used by another app. I discovered that if I use TTY or some other program to open the port and exit, then Papago and TomTom start to receive NMEA strings.
If you know anything about similar problems and how to fix it, please tell me.

I install the Papago x5se in my chinese gps 7 inch 800x480, with maps mfm. when i start the papago work ok, but when i copy the maps of Agentina in maps folder, the maps of argentina are r21_q2 not r21_MFM. and papago dont start. What is the problem? maps? or version of papago? please anybody help me. and sorry for my english. thanks

Hi Diego,
When you copy Argentina Map file on the folder Maps, don't copy R21_Q2_SSC.hdr. You must use R21_MFM.SSC.hdr from MFM map as header. But rename MFM header map R21_MFM.SSC.hdr into R21_Q2_SSC.hdr.

I'm having some problems with my Papago, it model is r5890bt. The exact problem is an invalid path to the "navi" folder on the TFAT mass storage.
After having changed the path to the file "papago.exe" the device did not return to work. Freezes on the welcome screen, this causes that the device can not connect properly to the desktop pc. Now I can not enter the TFAT to restore the original route. Anyone know how to solve this problem?

Put an empty file named papago.ini to root of sd card. The device, after reset, will load WinCE. Then you can rename the path.

Hola a todos, ante todo pido disculpas por mi ignorancia, tengo una radio dvd gps chino con wince 6 con pantalla de 7" y resolucion de 800x480 el gps trabaja en com 2 y a 9600 baudios, mi idea es poder usar los mapas de mapear que son los mas completos para Argentina.
Teniendo en cuenta las especificaciones de mi equipo, quisiera saber cual seria la version de papago compatible, de las que en este foro tan rico ofrecen, y en que ruta y que precauciones tengo que tener para insertar los mapas de mapear, desde ya muchisimas gracias a todos.
