ok, after you put the autodetecgps application into your 2gb drive then go to Main menu, select Nav.Setup and browse the autodetecgps application as for navigation and save it.......after that back to main menu and select Navigation......see it worked or not!
If still can't then you have to put the autodetecgps application into sdcard and do the same step.......

i have done both step. through built-in flash disk and through sdcard.
both cannot run. it says "not find software!". weird because when i browse, the autodetectgps 1.0.exe is shown and i selected it.

I'm planning to buy a China GPS..

Basically I found quite a number of brands, most of them are Eroda WinCE6.0, and can range from 4.3" to 7"

Can they be used in Malaysia? If not, how to go about converting it??

usually any china gps can run papago, if possible choose resolution 480x272 coz you'll have various version that you can install to your pnd. larger sdram & flashdisk is good and be sure to have larger sd card (tf card) too if you want to explore other version of papago or any other navi apps here.

regarding using in malaysia, its depends on the maps, e.g. papago & garmin is much complete compared to other navi apps...

By the way, too late, I've already bought ERODA LH950N.
HD, 800X480 one. Comes with bluetooth, FM, able to play all sorts of media files.

The current software is supposed to be able to run igo, garmin, and papago maps.

However... after reading online I found out that the free mfm papago maps won't work on it right?
Not sure about the garmin maps too, perhaps the same?

Need help and advice. What should I do to be able to run the most updated M'sian maps? While still retaining all the functionalities.

So far I've noticed one suitable one, PAPAGO! H5600 X7 - HD 800x480 (Taiwan Edition), is this allright? Or any other more suitable one?

Sorry just found out the resolution on my 5" unit is 480x272.
CPU: SiRF Atlas-4
O/S: Win CE 6.0

In that case what is recommended? Is this okay? PAPAGO!-X7-Reality-M3GPS-Edition
