Have you tried to use OBU / Car Navi? They have multi resolution 800x480 + 480 x234 and all updated to 2011 but they use chinese menu

What is your device WinCE version? 5 or 6?

You got it with com 6, add your map files + some files from TW maps (map header etc) ...

Replace BaseLangResCHTL and you will get English Menu

Thanks for the help, having the english setting menu on the device now, as for the maps, i try to place in MFM maps and default file name of R21_MFM_SSC and rename to R51_SSC, which i'm able to view the map but the search function does not work. Any advice. tks

You put wrong map, TW software requires R51 files (not R21), please get MFM for androids and extract it to be some R51 files

I got the sw working with search and navi function all working well.

Just to feedback, the happy programs of x3 x5 and purenavi 8 are not able to search for postal code of SG of the malfreemap data.
Only x7 are able to search for the postal code in the malsingmap datae only. I checked this by using the same map data when testing them.

It seems that the other programs are not searching a layer of the data which is for the address with the postal code of SG.
You can check by: Destination-> POI Search-> Scroll Down to the bottom of the menu-> x7 has a added "Address/Postcode" function.
Version other than x7 does not have this function, even when "All POIs" is used to search for all the versions, the engine does not search this special "Address/Postcode" layer.

Is there anyway to solve this? With a mod happy header which can search this layer or ...
Btw is there any x7 version for 480x234 which we can make use of this postal code search function?

1. Sorry I didn't notice about postal code
2. X7 M3 doesn't has 480x234
3. OBU Purenavi8 actually is X7 but originally from Taiwan
4. OBU 480x234 have many versions but don't know whether they have postal code search or not.
