TOOL for Modify PSU files

your attach structure , it work ok for main icon in main menu ! tested! but some image , after put in psu , papago can't run?

The modified BMP must be the same or smaller than the original BMP. If smaller then replace the correct size in the header.
But you have to be careful cause some BMP has the shadow/masking in it.
And you have to make sure the BMP are saved in 8 Bit 256 colours, otherwise it won' t work

noone can help me in this? you see the black dimp english word still there , i can't file it anywhere to erase it! only large icon have it , all pic of fuction key no have , after use image edit , it work good!

The black shadow in the picture is cause by the BMP having the shadow/masking property to make some part of the BMP transparent. You have to follow the guide to separate the BMP into two parts and modify them separately and the combine them again. This might seem confusing at first, but will be easier once you get the hang of it. Try it out, if not then I will upload another guide just for that.

There is an excellent freeware tool to extract bitmap resource from any binary file. You guys can use this tool to extract all bitmap from .psu files. There you go [Please Register or Login to download file] . The remain job is to edit the bitmap and put them back into .psu.

i see in your d2 file , hex address is 0x0000000 to 0x00002b35 , where is 0x2b47h to 0x5246h ?

when i only need don't use shadown, can't i delete some hex only?

You have to copy/extract from the original file. The attached D1 and D2 file is completed file as instructed in the guide.

If you don't need the shadow, you can try using D1 header.

As per mention in the guide, the BMP used is an example only, so different BMP wud have different offset
